Happy May 1st! I had the honor of eating at my friends new restaurant in Santa Monica named Ingo's located at 1213 Wilshire Blvd. Incredible food and great atmosphere with a super friendly staff. You feel welcome the moment you walk in the doors.
Everything on the menu looked incredible, but I told the waiter, "you had me at the forbidden rice." I had the sauteed wild snapper with forbidden rice, summer squash and spinach. Purple rice is my absolute favorite! If it's on the menu, it's mine! I will definitely be going back. You can't beat a beautiful dinner and then a walk in Palisades Park with the beautiful rose garden and a stunning sunset in the background. In your rear view is the magnificent moon gazing down at you. I call that an evening to remember. Here's to more of those! Definitely check out the restaurant and tell them I sent you! I'm certain it will be your new favorite spot! Happy May, a month full of new adventures!
